I also left home and I feel comforted knowing someone out there knows exactly how I feel from having almost the same emotional experiences. From the generosity of my parents. To never really coming back to what I have. Everything else transforming back home. Time passing. This is the 3rd time I've read this this week ❣️

This line, 'I felt so lucky to be a window passing through', brought me back to your incredible 'I want to be a window' poem. It's so special to see little motifs like this emerging in you work.
I also love the setimentality you bring to your writing. It breaks my heart a little every time. The 'california' poem really made me cry, I took that one personally.
